The Old Farm Cottage

The Luxury Two bedroom Cottage (Three bedroom if booked with Chalet 1) complements our separately bookable One Bedroom Luxury Chalets and is a luxury, spacious, modernised farm dwelling converted from the old farm 'Veterinary store'. The Cottage & Chalets are within a few feet from a beautiful 1.5 acre lake and set in a private 20 acre gated estate. Walk around this private and enchanting setting through parkland and private woodland but uniquely, only a couple of minutes from the centre of the historic Chichester town centre.  

The Cottage & Chalets can be rented separately or together providing the opportunity to accommodate from two people to 10 people (or more with extra foldaway beds) in all four accommodation.  The cottage has two double bedrooms, one double bed, and 2 twin beds, with an option of sleeping a third child upstairs if needed as we can offer a foldaway bed, and with the two double Sofa beds in the lounge, it's theoretically possible to sleep an absolute maximum of 9 people (Would suggest a maximum of 4 adults and 4 children though).

There is a separate garden area that has seating for summer evenings, to enjoy al fresco dining.  Northlands has a beautiful outdoor tennis court, which you can use.  Northlands is a working farm and features miniature farm animals such as Miniature pigs, Miniature donkeys, Alpacas,  Shetlands and Pygmy goats giving our guests a chance to meet the animals which are often a few steps away from the cottage and chalets (or out in the paddocks).   Feel free during your stay to walk around the beautiful private parkland featuring lakes, farm animals, private woodland, childrens woodland play area and experience the wildlife.  Whilst we are a rural farm,  we are very close to Chichester and our guests benefit from being within the range for Deliveroo deliveries (Pizza Express, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Wagamas, Giggling Squid, Zizi's etc)  If there are any specific requirements then please contact Kerrie who will be pleased to provide advice or help.  

Chichester is a beautiful Roman city on the South coast within a mile of Goodwood Estate. The Solent and Isle of Wight are within easy reach from this cathedral city.  The accommodation is within a 12 minute walk from Fishbourne station and taxis are readily available. There are two wonderful pubs in Fishbourne all within a 20 minute walk or 5 minute cycle ride. Please note there are no pathways for about 200 metres so you would have walk on road until you met the path.  Northlands cottage & chalet, with gates, security cameras and over 19 acres to explore is one of Chichester's most private & secluded accommodations. Great for access to Goodwood events which are only 5 minutes away by car.  The cottage has a fully integrated kitchen with dishwasher and separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The chalets have a built in microwave with hot plates, plus toaster, kettle and microwave.
